Heitinga returns to Amsterdam ArenA

John Heitinga will once agin play at his old home ground - but this time against Ajax.

Atletico Madrid will participate in the Amsterdam Tournament and play John Heitinga's former club on 24 July.

”I'm looking forward to come back to Amsterdam ArenA. It will be fun to play there again. But to play against Ajax is something very special. I will hit my former teammates with my fist. Literally speaking,” says John Heitinga.

John Heitinga played in Ajax from he was seven years old until he transfered to Atletico last summer.
