John meets the family for Xmas - on the pitch!

Boudewijn Zenden who made his debut for the Dutch national team in 1997, is one the most experienced Dutch players, and very few can match his impressive list of clubs. Zenden has played in: PSV,FC Barcelona, Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Liverpool, Marseille and he now plays in Sunderland FC or the "The Black Cats".

Whether the Sunderland players felt that they were hit by bad luck from their own nickname is hard to say, but Everton scored the equalizer in the dying minutes of the match at The Stadium of Light, and the game thus ended in a 1-1 draw. Maybe Heitinga's soon-to-be-wife Charlotte Zenden was the most content person with this result, as it may ensure Christmas peace between her future husband and her own brother.
